This site, ROOTED: All Things Arboreal, is inspired by ROOTED, the anthology. In both, we hope to expand the way we think about trees. As Bill McKibben wrote in the anthology’s introduction, “Trees are a gate to the larger world beyond us. They are the opposite of a smart phone; they defy self-absorption.”
