I moved to L.A. in 2008 to make a go of it as an assistant at a major entertainment agency because I was fascinated by the concept of celebrity -- the idea of some humans having so much demanded of them that they had to hire people to stand between themselves and the rest of the world.

The California Prose Directory presents short fiction and non-fiction about life in the Golden State.
